Europe isn’t a continent but I get your point . However, Asia having cheap air travel within the continent exposes the flaws in this argument. Africa can develop that for Africans . We have the luxury to do it
Europe is a very small continent with very integrated transportation system ( thanks to colonial plunder) hence they can travel en mass.. Africa is very big but there's no rail for example linking the continent.. We need to think of geopolitics too beyond football

Because it's easier, quicker and cheaper for Europeans to travel within and across Europe than it is for Africans to do same in Africa. Bafana had to fly to Dubai (another continent) in order to get a flight to Morocco for example.
