Let it be known I went from 2018 producing a song on billboard hot 100… Getting signed to Timbaland. Multiple sessions with the guy..even dropped a few records. And now 2022 I’m working two 9-5’s at the same time completely unrelated jobs. Humbled is an understatement

Branding, keep building your name, eventually you will be able to charge high amounts for beats, only gotta sell a few a month and you still up $10k+. Build that brand value, that’s the key

I don’t think it matters too much unless you literally can’t make your own melodies, then you’re just dependent on other producers every beat

Why you gotta charge at least $1k for exclusives, we need to change the standard…
Do people really complain about $100 exclusives? Artists consider this. A basic lease is what? $30 say only 10 people buy it. That’s $300. So selling to you exclusively fir $100 means they losing money out the gate. And that’s only the front end. 🤦🏻♂️ people so selfish.
