A new PhD in town: meet Dr. Julian Rackwitz! But seriously: How often do you hear about vibrations, partial dislocations and bacteria in a single PhD defense? Thanks to my colleague Prof. Greg Olson for the co-supervision of this young superstar!

New PhDs: Dr. Haoxue Yan & Dr. Jiyun Kang! Had so much fun learning about micro-strain localization, and H effects on dislocations, with these amazing scientists. Haoxue is now a post-doc with Prof. Kunal Mukherjee at @Stanford. Jiyun will stay with us a bit more. Congrats again!
