Gould's Wall (Brian Current and Liza Balkan) is a unique site-specific piece premiered in 2022 on the iconic inner brick wall of the Atrium of the Royal Conservatory of Music.

Each brick represents her art, her rigour, and her challenge. Does she have the strength, or will she slip and fall into the abyss?.

A magnificent wall. Bursting with the compulsion to reach the top, she invokes Canadian icon, classical pianist Glenn Gould to guide her towards dizzying heights – but the path isn’t easy.

"My Eyes are Bright and Sparkly" is one of many opera "shorts" hosted on COR. These mini-operas explore all sorts of themes and topics: from the death of Democracy, to a bad date unexpectedly saved by a goat meme.

The voices she hears in her head are variations of her own critical voice. She sees herself the way she imagines her date will see her. Nothing is right – everything is wrong. It is a vicious, relentless circle. .

“Hate your stupid earrings, hate your ugly shoes!”. In "My Eyes are Bright and Sparkly" (Rene Orth and Colleen Murphy), Stephanie is getting ready to go out on a date, but she begins to unravel when she checks herself in the mirror.
