As early as July 2020, all 13 Canadian CMOHs & assorted PH officials were warned repeatedly by PHAC and CADTH about Long COVID, And yet they did nothing to amplify that warning. This is the biggest (& cruellest) misstep of Canada's pandemic, still untouched by journalists:.
PoP NB submitted a RTI request for records of discussions of Long Covid. The response brings to light a shocking level of deception perpetrated against the people of NB, under which true magnitude of risk was hidden and the fundamental precepts of public health were abandoned. 🧵

Just a gentle PSA: it seems like everyone's nerves are really stretched. Even if you agree with someone, you may be reflexively misunderstood. Society is on a hair trigger, and solidarity is thin on the ground, as the bullies file in to take their seats.

12/.The bottomline is that every healthcare provider still not wearing an #N95 mask in 2025, is a failure of public health & preventive medicine, & demonstrates that they know zero about the ongoing risks of #LongCOVID, nor how to treat patients who have it.
