Not surprised Mitch got hurt after Embiid was playing to hurt someone and the refs elected not to eject him
1. Unnatural leg movement to hit groin
2. Clear dangerous play to take out the legs of a vulnerable player
3. Unnatural hand and leg motion to hit the face and groin.
All you can ask for from the refs is consistency, and with people complaining about the last play just remember that this is how Philly was guarding inbounds passes while trailing in the 4th
Just a few of the many blown calls
1. High Five contact is not a foul under the NBA Rule book. Thibs got a T for arguing this. 4 FTs.
2. Clear charge. 2 FTs.
3. Kick out at best, incidental contact at worst. 3. FTs
33-12 FT margin

Good morning Knicks fans, you deserve this team!
Knicks in their 59th game of:
2018: Lose 8th game in a row. They won their next game then lost 9 in a row
2019: Lose first game after breaking an 18 game losing streak
2020: Lose 6th game in a row
2021: Win 8th game in a row
Stephen A. Smith just said he forgot John Collins wasn’t going to play tonight.
Collins hasn’t played in over a month.
This guy doesn’t watch basketball.
Scott Foster spoke to pool reporter KC Johnson about ejecting Josh Hart in the first quarter:
Q: "Why was it ruled a flagrant 2 and not a flagrant 1?"
Scott Foster: "By rule we considered the act unnecessary and excessive, therefore it’s a flagrant foul penalty 2."
Q: "Did…
I thought this was an awesome sequence of events. After getting beat backdoor RJ Barrett gets berated by Thibs in the huddle then Thibs calls his number in the first play out of the timeout and RJ goes in strong for the bucket
RJ Barrett’s 3 point shooting by month:
December: 12.5% (3 for 24)
January: 35.1% (20 for 57)
February: 47.4% (18 for 38)
March: 34.0% (17 for 50)
April: 48.2% (41 for 85!!!!)
BREAKING: The Washington Wizards are finalizing a trade to send All-Star G Bradley Beal to the Phoenix Suns, sources tell ESPN. Beal’s waiving his no-trade to form a new Big 3 with Devin Booker and Kevin Durant. Teams are still working thru framework, but Beal is headed to Suns.
All 5 Knicks involved in this:
Divo gets the loose ball
Brunson hits the 3
Hart gets the steal
Hartenstein gets the board
OG gets the assist as
Divo hits the 3
No quit, All grit, Close-Knit
If you’re upset with the Knicks traded all those second round picks you should know that the Knicks got 2 second round picks for signing Evan Fournier and 3 for having Ed Davis on the team for a week. They’ll be alright

This is superhero stuff from Grimes. Like, if you saw this in a movie, you'd think it's too unrealistic. Guy played every second of this game. Crunch time. Gets hurt on the play and has to defend the opponent's best player 1-on-1. Guts it out & comes up w/ the steal on one leg.
Nurse doesn’t use the TO initially but gets ready to call it to avoid the 5 seconds. He pulls it back when the ball gets unbounded.
Then he doesn’t call a timeout until Maxey is on the ground, without clear control of the ball. (1/2)
Josh Hart’s response to why the Knicks have been able to hit the ground running after a major trade (the Knicks won their first 9 games after getting Josh Hart):
Thanks everyone.
For letting us have some fun with you guys on here and the pod.
Sorry that series sucked ass.
Cya soon. BIG off season 👀.
Lets go Knicks. Knickstape.
When does Thibs admit the problem wasn’t Kemba or Mitch starting? The real problems are Julius Randle not being the best player ever anymore (still ok) and Evan Fournier being awful
When you’re on the ground behind the play you don’t protect yourself by grabbing a guy’s leg when he’s jumping away from you and violently pull him back towards you
“[I was] trying to make sure he didn’t land on me, bc we all know the issue I had w/ Kuminga landing on me, I had some flashbacks … I didn’t mean to hurt anybody. Just in those situations, I’ve got to protect myself.”
Joel Embiid on his flagrant foul against Mitchell Robinson:
