We had so much fun these past few days with the wonderful composer and human being @ingridstölzel as she paid a whistle-stop visit. This visit from the highly esteemed composer turned out to be only a few days packed with rehearsals, two concerts,a première of her new arrangement

The final Women’s History Month dedication, we have reserved the honour for Ethel Smyth, given her role in fighting for equality. This clip is Smyth’s infamous ‘March of the Women’, arranged by @penelope.oboe. It was performed at the International Women’s Day concert @conwayhall.

Errollyn Wallen moved to London, England, from Belize with her family when she was two years old. She was the first black woman to be featured at the proms. The clip today is from her piece Louis’ Loops, recorded live in Plumstead in June 2023, it is played by @Lana Bode.
