Engine upgrade from 2018.3.6f1 to the newest release, 2019.3.0f6 and the list of broken things are manageable. Game runs smoother, loads faster, postprocessing is now built-in, lighting is more accurate and less glitchy. And most importantly, terrain with holes or overhangs!

Overhaul is done! Combat is running again smoothly from beginning to the end without bugs. Next 3 days involve adding effects, particles, movement to the visuals. Right now I added a damagecounter. Thats the basis for all the effects now. https://t.co/nWRuTWEeML

Heads up since it's been quiet in here, we were forced to do a complete overhaul of how the combat system was handled in order to get rid of the last few bugs and we are about 75% done with that now. A stable game is a good game.

Some more code news, automatic enemy formations and positioning are now done. We settled on a maximum of 5 enemies at a time.

For those who are keen on the details, what happens right now is when you start a battle, every second time there are no enemies and no party. Once you exit and reenter, it's fine. Developing games is a constant rollercoaster.

Update on the coding: Asynchronous loading implemented plus 3 major bugs that came with it. 2 bugs squished. 1 more to go to have smooth transitions between scenes and battles.
