July is about scholarships! Nothing else matters.
Put your program against the best teams, in front of the most media, and with a staff that’s going to work for your team.
More info:
I moved to Georgia with $2400, a cousin that blessed me with a room at his house, and a part time job in a field I had no clue about. No real plans. Only a prayer and hard work. My guy JY
was the one to take a chance on me and the rest was history. I’m thankful for the journey.
I’m looking forward to running some of the best events in grassroots basketball with my new position as The Director of Events with
@OntheRadarHoops
I appreciate the opportunity to continue connecting with the coaches and players that make our game great. Let’s go!!
I’m really excited to continue building with teams here in the southeast. The Prep Hoops brand has helped players around the country, and I’m proud to play my part in it’s continued success.
We are thrilled to announce the hiring of Tai Young as Director of Prep Hoops Events 🚨
He brings decades of basketball experience with him and will help take our future events to new heights.
Welcome, Tai!

A student assistant asked me for some advice about breaking into the business of college bball
If you’re really serious about breaking into college coaching, be prepared to move somewhere that you never thought you would live,for an amount you never thought you could live off of
I knew that something was special about you from day one, and I couldnt let that slip away. Our journey started years ago, but this feels like a brand new beginning...I love you forever
The NCAA issued another blow for upcoming prospects with their extension of the dead period to January 1st. Much like this travel ball season, it’s important for high school teams to invest in live streaming to give their prospects a chance to be seen.
There will be a ton of prospects whose phone will not ring at all tomorrow. That's ok too. It's not a race. You don't have to compare yourself to your peers. Log off, and get back to work. Trust that your time is going to come.
Woke up feeling blessed to have so much support from 517 teams from all across the country. We all made history together as Best of the South was the largest boys live period event under one roof. Major things happen when you put student athletes first.
I hope every travel coach in the country gets a chance to take a deep breath, and spend some time with their non basketball family. It’s a well deserved rest after this extended season.
To everyone that supported us for this yrs
#BOTS19
I appreciate it. The thanks and congrats calls and txts havent stopped. For an event thats gone on for yrs, this one felt brand new. This was the most satisfying moment I've had since being in the travel ball community. Thanks!
Coaches are evaluating you the minute you start unpacking your car. How you interacted with your family that brought you...did you introduce yourself to your other teammates...Did you go straight to the gym afterwards..
You are now on the clock. You are now apart of a business.
I got a voice message at about 7:30 this morning from a travel coach telling me that he found a really good big to fit his team. A few short years ago I was up at 6 am to work at a steel factory. So yea, this job is pretty dope.
I appreciate all the calls, texts and DMs, that I’ve received over the past few hours. Your support really means a lot to me. I’m looking forward to hitting the ground running with Prep Hoops. You’ll be hearing from me soon regarding our 2022 schedule. Big things happening.
Players heading into the live period please understand this..There may be 1 coach that watches your every move while 10 others are concerned with everything but the game. Focus more on proving that 1 coach right then the other 10 wrong
We are proud to announce Tai Young as our new Vice President of Events! 👏 Tai will be introducing several new middle school and high school events to our already LOADED winter/spring schedule 🔥. 🎯
For those prospects of the 2022 class that receive any kind of interest tomorrow, please keep the proper perspective. It's something to be proud of but still keep in mind that your journey is far from over.

I think players fail to realize that some coaches are looking for reasons why they SHOULDNT offer you a scholarship. Especially low major guards. Sometimes the smallest thing could get you checked off so they can move on to the next. Separate yourself
I work with a lot of men on a daily basis that give up their time with their sons, to be in the lives of others People try to give travel b-ball a bad name but some of the most influential men in my life were met on the court. Happy Father’s Day to all of those that impact others
I was asked by a family member back home what makes GA the best. The state has All Americans and D3 standouts. Constant live streams, mixtape makers, social media, and web based platforms. Great HS and travel ball coaches. All of that can be found in any event you step into
After dropping 35 points the day before Virginia Tech signee Landers Nolley(
@thatbooych3z
) had 46 points 10 rebounds 6 assist 2 steals and 1 block. The
@LHughesHoops
guard is on a mission
It hit me at about 3am..I had a few people ask me yesterday how I was doing and I had no complaints.
None at all.
Ive been here in Georgia for over a year now. I genuinely love it here. I've met so many people here through this game that we all love.
2020 NBA Academy Latin America guard Santiago Vescovi had a masterful showing here at
#TSFTOC
A ridiculously high IQ kept him several plays ahead of others. Per his HC, Louisville, Butler and Kansas are just some of the programs involved.
The 2020 season was a difficult one for the travel ball community but we made the most of it. Looking ahead to next year, we're doing everything in our power to make up for lost time. Our live periods will provide independent teams with the best experience possible
I am happy to welcome one of the best in the country with our Marquee Hoops team. Tucker has discovered a ton of quality prospects over the years and will continue to do so as our Director of Scouting 🎯
Read more on Tucker here:
Attention all players
Your bio should always consist of
*Your first and last name
*Year of graduation
*School(HS and travel)
These are the bare essentials needed in your recruiting process
Man, this whole thing really sucks for players. I can’t imagine being in you guys shoes. Worried about offers. Stressed about visits. You dont have any clue as into what more you can do. I get it. Something that you work for every day has been taken from you & you have no control
n last weeks polls, Ashton Hagans(
@H23Ash
) gained the most votes towards expecting to have the best post season run of all 7A players earning 70% of 1023 total votes
*Ejected fan grabs me in the lobby*
Fan: Man I had to tell them refs to do their job
Me: Yes sir I understand but it’s my job to make sure they’re doing their job
Fan: WELL HOW ARE YOU DOING YOUR JOB IF YOURE OUT HERE TALKING TO ME
Me:
I appreciate the hospitality from
@OntheRadarHoops
yesterday. It felt good being back in the gym & seeing a lot of the talent that the region has to offer. Between the shot clock, events, media, talent, & every other offering, GA continues to show why this state carries the torch
Devon Dotson(
@d_dotson1
) was a monster for Providence Day with 29 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 assist. Says his development on and off the court, as well as feeling like a family were his primary reasons for choosing Kansas. Big time pick up
I’ll never forget my first HoopSeen Preview camp. I had a parent complain to me about how hard a kid was playing and how others could get hurt. Her exact words were “he’s playing as if there are college coaches here”. As a sophomore, that kid named JaQueze Kirby became a favorite
Congrats to my man
@CoachCabralHuff
on becoming the head coach at Voorhees. The game continues to bless those that treat it well. We all look forward to following you and your team!
B Maze Elite benefitted a ton from the shooting of 2020 guard Edward Lacey. Multiple made threes from a stand still and off the bounce. Tremendous full court defender with instincts to disrupt an offense.
I see a lot of seniors who’s season ended telling their coaches and teammates how much they love them. Keep embracing that feeling. Hit the weights as a group. Keep playing pick up. Be around each other. You’ll never match the feeling of that year long grind as a family
Georgia Tech, App State, Ole Miss, Georgia State, Middle Tennessee State, Winthrop, Florida Gulf Coast, Wake Forest, Kennesaw State, and UAB have reached out to North Gwinnett forward RJ Godfrey
One player that I felt was snubbed from this years McDonalds All American team was
@LHughesHoops
guard Landers Nolley(
@thatbooych3z
) He's one of the most prolific scorers in the country, scoring 116 points in the last 3 games with one of them being for 50.
If your sideline looks like this tonight then consider yourself blessed. A couple of plays could change your life forever. Welcome to the live period...
I consider George Pridgett, Jax Bouknight, and Mannie Harris to be three of the more undervalued guards when I consider their production in relation to their offers(or lack thereof). Who are some other PG’s/CGs that come to mind?
A lot of players are going to become real self aware at the next level when that assistant coach that has spent the last 4 days watching your every move on film screams “no left” or “non shooter” every time you touch it.
Sharife Cooper shined at the Nike Elite 100 using his gifted ball handling to maneuver through defenses. In the 3v3 session, Cooper used the open floor to his advantage by showing off his great ability to score In ISO situations. His play opened eyes for many in attendance
As usual, it was Sutton Smiths ability to make plays for others that kept his team in the drivers seat. He routinely proves to be on the short list of the most creative facilitators in Georgia’s 2021 class.
That Gibbons schedule is crazy right...
Have I ever told you an event would be loaded and didn’t deliver?
Never have. Never will.
With that being said, here’s the next one we will deliver on.
I want to say thank you to all the teams that supported us this season. Everything that you do for us & your players doesn’t go unnoticed. We want to continue playing our part in your teams/players success.
The whole HoopSeen staff went from planning vacations on Sunday night to more conversations about the next season than we’ve ever had. More talent. More content. Better venues. Taking the HSA to another level. You’ll see the work that we’re putting in during the “off season”.
Thank you to the travel coaches that work hard to put their players in the best positions possible. The countless hours that are spent trying to fulfill the dreams of others does not go unnoticed. You are a major part of what made
#BOTS19
special. You are appreciated.
To everyone that supported us for this yrs

I appreciate it. The thanks and congrats calls and txts havent stopped. For an event thats gone on for yrs, this one felt brand new. This was the most satisfying moment I've had since being in the travel ball community. Thanks!
So many coaches, so many media outlets, and even more talented prospects. I can’t say enough how impressed I’ve been with the turn out for the
@NCAAGeorgia
team camp. Several players are starting to benefit from the unity shown in the state
According to my good friends at
@VerbalCommits
there are 40+ players in Georgia that have at least one offer. To my surprise, not one staff has extended an offer to Wheeler ‘21 forward JaHiem Hudson. After watching the state championship and some film this morning, I’m all in.
College coaches can start reaching out to members of the 2022 class starting tomorrow, June 15th. It's an exciting time for rising juniors as they get the opportunity to hear from many of the schools that have been tracking their progress or extended offers.
The rush to play with “national circuits” that can’t name your programs alumni is becoming a problem in grassroots. Remember your friends, there’s few in this game. Good morning.
Chico Carter, 2019 Team Charlotte guard has committed to Murray State. Carter brings toughness and playmaking ability to the Racers. Murray St. starts their 2019 class with a bang.
Young prospects, take note of how 2020 & 21 prospects were affected by schedule changes for consecutive years. Take a no excuse approach to your development & recruitment. Stay equipped with your transcript, highlight tapes, full game film, accolades, articles, etc.
Upson Lee 2019 big man Travon Walker(
@D1Figure_
)had 17 points and 20 rebounds...not a typo...Travon got his hands on every missed shot and if it wasn't for his HM football offers he would be a guy to prioritize in 2019
Good time spent watching The evaluation camp hosted by
@jmixtape__
‘21 Jasuan Holt MVP
‘22 Zach Bell Most underrated
‘21 Cam McDowell Most competitive
‘24 Klairus Amir Highest ceiling
‘21 Jason Edwards Best scorer
There are the people that coach for a living, and there are the ones that live to coach. It’s easy to know which side of the fence Doug Byrd is on. I can’t say enough how excited I am to see him back on the sidelines at Denmark Tech. A basketball guy through and through
I appreciate all of the support that we’ve had through this crazy season. Every coach played a huge role in trying to make the most out of a crazy situation for all of our student athletes. Thank you for trusting us to provide a safe and beneficial platform.
Freshman guard JD Notae(
@jdnotae
) had a season high 24 points for Jacksonville. The freshman is averaging 13 ppg and 6 rebounds. Great start for the former Newton Ram(
@NewtonRamsBball
)
My heart goes out to all the loved ones of O'Jaryn Reese and the Statesboro/Georgia Suns program. The stories that I've been told paint the picture of a great young man. Reese's family and friends will remain in my thoughts and prayers.
Shot clocks add a new and needed element to our 17u games. Coaches want to see who can make great decisions in 30 seconds. Looking forward to seeing how this impacts teams and players this year.
I had a coach ask me about the attitude of a player from one of our Preview camps. The first thing I spoke on was that the player looked me in the eye and engaged me during huddles. Those type of things are noticed by the people that coach and evaluate you..
