Rex reveal! This is the real skull of ‘Dynamo’- the T. rex specimen we’ve been working on. He’s close in size to Stan,& totally decked out in pathologies-will post more on that later. Super lucky to have gotten to work so much on such an amazing animal, so thought I’d show off!🦖

A new species of large Triassic theropod was just announced: Newtonsaurus cambrensis. Its holotype is an unusual fossil, the preserved impression of a dentary that suggests an animal 5-7 meters long. The paper details how they built a digital model off of it. Cool stuff!
