Just rewatched #AboutTime and this movie means so much to me. Far and away one of my favorite movies ever. The characters and relationships feel real, the story on the surface is very generic and played out but adding the time travel twist completely turns it in its head. 1/.

Just watched #GetOut for the first time and I was super impressed. Obviously the movie has a great reputation but about halfway in, I was getting a little disappointed. It seemed very on the nose and like it was taking too long to get to the big reveal which seemed obvious. 1/.

Loved it just as much, can’t go the full 5 because there are some small things in the front half that don’t end up making sense. Don’t want to get into specifics yet for spoiler reasons but none of it diminishes my enjoyment of the film but it is enough to keep me at 4.75.
Also, round 2 of #Weapons is tomorrow night. Taking a friend to see it for the first time, can’t wait for their reaction. Have you guys seen it yet? What did you think?.

How does everyone feel about this?.
'Weapons' prequel movie is reportedly in the works . Would focus on Aunt Gladys' backstory . (via @THR)

Round 2 of #WeaponsMovie starting. My big question is whether the small things that didn’t really fit into the bigger picture will bother me or not. I think there’s a possibility this moves up to 5/5 after this viewing.

#Barbarian. After seeing Weapons, I had to check this out. Horror is usually not my thing but this was awesome. The literal non-stop tension throughout the whole first half as you’re trying to figure out what’s happening and then watching it unravel was great. 1/.

Most of these are understandable but how have you not seen Black Panther? Think that’ll probably be your most liked.
Here is the list of my unseen Comic Book Movies, from this century atleast. That i plan on making a little thread about my enjoyment of each of them. I’ll quote this tweet as i watch them. And i’ll add to this thread with my ratings of them along with my Letterboxd review

#Weapons. Movie of the year. I don’t want to go into any specifics because everyone should go in blind but just amazing. There was a seemingly impossible balance between the humor yet constant tension. A beautifully written story that built to an amazing climax. 1/.
