Our hearts are with all of those affected by the devastation caused by floods across Central Texas. We have mobilized 225+ personnel from Texas A&M Forest Service & TIFMAS to support flood response. Our saw teams are clearing debris and restoring access.

We use staff rides to remember those who lost their lives in the line of duty of protecting our homes and lives. After studying the context of the fire and incident response strategy, participants of staff rides walk through the site of the fire.

This week is Wildland Firefighter Week of Remembrance, honoring the sacrifices made by wildland firefighters who have lost their lives while protecting our lands, families, and natural resources. In October, we honor the fallen firefighters at a memorial ceremony at Camp Swift.
