On SNJ Today: Why is the DfE relying too little on firm evidence and too much on unaccountable "experts" for SEND reform? Dr Kieron Smith says talking only to a favoured few shuts down debate, excludes vital voicesāand it's simply undemocratic: https://t.co/JGcGrgCfQd

If you haven't yet worked out that the attention circulating against 'high functioning' autistics is propaganda spread to make you accept spending cuts on SEND kids and disability benefits, start paying attention fast. ND people are likely the next political target after trans.

For International Womenās Day 2026 letās celebrate by reposting an inspirational woman. If you have received support from Marion please share on SM
For International Womenās Day 2026 I would like to celebrate the tenacious Founder of SOS SEN Marion Strudwick. She has helped so many families over the last 24 yrs. At nearly 90 this lady is indefatigable. Younger generations could learn a lot by spending a few hours with her

Masking : Hotly debated after the Uta Frith TES article. Itās depressing that this is being questioned when it took so many years to get to this point.
š§µMasking is not performance. It is protection. šØ1/16 Masking is ( or was) trending on Twitter. āØItās also increasingly heard in clinical practice. As with most phenomena that suddenly become popular, it can be misunderstood ( and are applied broadly) āMaskingā is not one

Come on @LucyandYak . Why the ridiculous change in sizes. She(size 6/8)had to try on a size 12 causing significant issues with BDD. Skimping on material. We walked down the road to a shop selling appropriate sizing and spent more money. You are losing your customer base
@LucyandYak you used to be a body positive size inclusive shop. Few weeks ago you removed larger sizes. Today my D(25) with body dysmorphia couldnāt get into a size 8 when a size 6 from 3 years ago fits - saving money at the expense of your previous loyal customers?

A reminder of the Gazette article last year: SEND reform and legal rights | Law Gazette

The 'parents of disabled children' club was one I didn't want to join, and yet was shattered to leave with the death of my daughter in February. Re-engaging with these issues at this time, I find...

2/2 All the runners just stopped. Nothing contrived. No request from teachers. They walked back and walked with that child. And so they all crossed the line together. So many of us parents cried that day on that field. Proud and Hopeful. Human to human
