Even if you try to mark dowel joints precisely, getting them to align perfectly can be tricky!.That’s where this DIY jig comes in. Thanks to its self-centering design, it automatically drills right in the center—no matter the thickness of your material.

Have you ever heard of a hand screw clamp you can easily make using just bolts, nuts, and scrap wood? This was actually my first time making one, and honestly, you can never have too many clamps! Also, there’s just something warm and charming about wooden tools—I really love that👍.

If you do woodworking, you probably have a bunch of short pencils lying around….It felt like a waste to throw them away, so I came up with a way to repurpose them!. Introducing the “Pencil Marking Gauge”!.It’s a super handy tool for quick layout lines.

I used the New Dozuki Saw 150mm from @templetoolco to turn a wood block into a planter!.This saw has a uniquely shaped blade that lets you cut freely—vertically, horizontally, and diagonally. I didn’t plan much and just cut by feel, but I’m really happy with how it turned out 👍.

In the first half of the video, I tried marking dowel positions using nails, but the alignment was still slightly off. For this type of joint, slicing a piece of material thinly can actually create an instant jig.

This is a classic sliding jig for circular saws — but traditional ones can take up quite a bit of space, which isn’t ideal for small workshops. So, I built a super compact sliding jig using a 300×300mm base board.
