My favorite part of writing this piece was spontaneously comparing @leighdiffey and @DonOrsillo. Two fantastic announcers who made me more passionate about sports because they are. Two of the greatest to ever get behind a mike IMO.

It's so freaking cool that my favorite pitcher growing up has climbed all the way through the ranks. Congrats to Chris and way to go @Rangers!.

And to pile on, I got so excited to interview @HaroldPerrineau again that I pushed the wrong button on my phone and signed up for a second, 1000-mile marathon. It’s so me to accidentally challenge myself to do something impossible. 😂

forgot the earthquake. I showed up for work 3.5 hours early, then worked a 4-hour shift. then worked another 6.5 hours to keep my department on the level, despite my back killing me, AND the earthquake. I feel like Jack Bauer.

Shoutout to the fine folks at @toddlandstore because after the losses my family has gone through, being able to get my mom a #BobsBurgers Little King Trashmouth plush made her genuinely happy for the first time in a week. ♥️.

Found out my grandfather died last Sunday. Found out my aunt passed away last night. I’ve lost two family members in less than a week and don’t know how to feel about any of this.

After turning 39 and losing my grandfather taking some time to spend with family and reorient myself. Think it’s time to focus more on my creativity and making myself happy. Maybe I’ll take Thayne’s advice and start singing. #ThoughtfulThursday.

Woke up with vertigo, am worn out from trying to keep things running smoothly at work, but what I will remember from today is @markfeuerstein calling me a sixth-grader instead of a third-grader. Thanks, Mark, you have no idea how many laughs you’ve given me over the years. 😂.

I'm unreasonably happy about @adamlevine coming back to #TheVoice in 2025, after everything he did for people including myself during his original run on the show. Might have to get @bigredchairs out of retirement for this. Always the proud extra member of #TeamAdam.

This was a fantastic thing to see. Gutted for O’Ward and my favorite Dixon but Josef pulled it out in nail-biting fashion.
