Brice Sensabaugh might be in store for a big year 3. Because, after getting rid of both Sexton and Clarkson, Utah’s backcourt rotation is looking pretty thin, and he should have the opportunity to compete for a full-time starting spot. Last season he was the only player in the

That Joel Embiid article was one of the best pieces I’ve read in a while man. Really hoping he gets a healthy championship run this season

Ryan Nembhard to the Mavs: A I think Nembhard has all the tools to be a backup point guard in the NBA, and I can’t believe he didn’t get drafted. Nice pickup for Dallas.

Max Shulga to the Celtics: A+ I love this pick so much. Shulga was one of my favorite deep cut prospects this year, and I think there’s a real chance he gets some spot minutes in Boston next year if they have a full retool year.

Javon Small to the Grizzlies: A- The Grizzlies never miss on the margins. Small will have a tough path to minutes on a deep Memphis team, but this is terrific value and I do believe in Small’s long term upside as a backup floor general

Kam Jones to the Pacers: A+ Another terrific pick here. Kam Jones was one of my favorite prospects this year, and I love his fit with the Pacers has someone who can provide high-volume slashing and make quick decisions as a ball-handler

Adou Thiero to the Lakers: A+ What an awesome pick man. Thiero was a lottery prospect in my eyes, and him being on a team with multiple high level playmakers will make his job much easier. One of the biggest steals of the draft

Johni Broome to the 76ers: B+ Broome was a good value pick here for the 76ers. I really buy the defensive skills and shot-blocking translating, and I think he can be a garbage man on offense early in his career

Ryan Kalkbrenner to the Hornets: A+ To me, Kalkbrenner is an obvious NBA player. He’s a perfect plug-and-play big next to LaMelo who will see an easy path to minutes now that Charlotte has cleared out their frontcourt depth.

Noah Penda to the Magic: A I really like Penda as a high feel offensive player with strong defensive skills. Think there’s a sneaky chance he plays right away for Orlando, especially if his jumper proves to be solid

I want to thread some of my favorite 2nd round pickups (🧵) Rasheer Fleming to the Suns: A- Not as high on Rasheer as some, but I like Phoenix’s focus on getting complementary players who focus a lot of energy on defense. This was a great pickup

Charlotte Hornets: B+ Had McNeeley relatively low, but this is good value. I buy the shot a ton and think he showed a lot of versatility as a passer for UConn this year. Charlotte is going to get a ton of threes up next year.

Boston Celtics: C Not a big Hugo guy, but as a stash prospect I think this is a fine swing. Great athlete with good physical tools and prototypical size

Brooklyn Nets: C The Nets had five first round picks and drafted zero players in the top 30 on my board. Take a bow Sean Marks

Brooklyn Nets: C- This is just an abysmal draft from the Nets man. Three high feel playmakers that can’t really score is not a recipe for success.

Orlando Magic: A+ BOOM! The Jase Richardson slide finally ends. This is the steal of the draft. Jase is a perfect fit for the Magic and has all the opportunity to emerge as their third guard as soon as his rookie year.

Sacramento Kings: A- Really wish the Thunder stayed here to take Nique, but this is a great pick for the Kings. Really well-rounded wing who can play right away for them.
