Big topic I have heard discussed is "Pre-Game Routine" for Catchers...
Here is a quick one to get your catchers ready to go for blocking before the game: Preset the hands, Push with the legs, Catch with the belly-button, Hold for feel.

Whatever gets the right arm moving is “pitch framing”.
You probably also get mad at your catchers for a glove only block (when runners don’t advance), since it wasn’t off the belly button.
Catching is a hard job. Let’s find the desired outcome and praise it.

Catching Twitter has gotten just as bad as Hitting Twitter. I don’t mind one-knee here and there but it’s got to be situationally appropriate. I have seen some ill-timed one-knee stances lately. With 2 strikes on a hitter and/or runner(s) on base, I’m not a fan.
