During the warm weather there have reports of misleading ads online for room cooling devices using 'new technology' that promise to save money on bills. Electrical Safety First advise that you should only buy electrical products from trusted retailers. ➡️

There's been a huge increase in recruitment 'task' scams which offer paid work completing simple tasks such as writing online reviews or liking social media posts. After completing a few tasks, you're usually asked to make payments to release more tasks. ➡️

Some consumers have received scam calls posing as SKY, saying the insurance policy on their broadband equipment is about to expire and that if they don't renew it immediately they could be liable for the cost of replacing it. Read more➡️
