The organisers of BarraLive and the Eilean Dorcha festival in Benbecula have issued warnings about ticket scams after attendees received emails saying their payment had failed and asking them to click a link to repay. Read more➡️

There have been reports of new text/WhatsApp scams which start "Hi, this is Mum/Dad", where fraudsters pose as a parent and say they have a new phone number, often asking for money. Read more ➡️

Be #ScamAware of texts saying an unpaid parking fine has been found on your vehicle and asking you to click a link to pay immediately. They don't say where you supposedly parked. Legitimate fines will contain details of the infringement & how to pay. ➡️
