I have enjoyed #Benophie part 1 so much, more than I expected after the abysmal treatment of #Kanthony & the mess of S3. But I truly miss Kanthony, especially in the scenes with the brothers at the club & LadyDs ladies' dinner. Kate & Anthony should have been in these scenes.

Benedict tells Sophie that she's working for his mother at Bridgerton House. Bridgerton House is now Kate's & Anthony's home so Sophie should be in their employment, not Violet's. When will Violet give up that house & move out? The house belongs to #Kanthony

Since QC is no longer chasing after LadyW or considering the Diamond of the season, the writers had to come up with another subplot to keep her in the show. She gets far too much screentime that adds nothing. All that screentime could have been given to #Kanthony instead

#Benophie at My Cottage exceeded my expectations. Beautiful scenes beautifully acted. Unfortunately we don't see much of the Penwoods because far too much time is spent on Portia & her maid Varley with a boring subplot. These scenes are totally unnecessary as they add nothing.

So far this season proves that if productions stay (more) faithful to a book story & characters, the adaptation works. #Benophie season is proof of this. They should have stayed more faithful to the #Kanthony book with all its iconic moments inc the wedding & no triangle.

I'm glad that #Benophie is the focus of ep1 & ep2. I hope this will continue for the rest of the season. Imo, QC gets far too much screentime & it's boring as ever. It seems she is the 2nd plot in this season which should belong to the heads of the Bridgerton family #Kanthony imo

After watching S4 ep1 & ep2, I can already tell that #Benophie is the focus of their own season. This is how it should be! This is how it should have been for #Kanthony too! I know they never do right by Kanthony but at least we get a proper Benophie season. Hurrah! 🥳
