Bumble forecast for Indiana says to expect gorgeous blue skies, wonderfully extreme cold temperatures, and playfully crunchy snow.

Finished building the newest addition to the #KnightGarden, composter fences. Decided the giant pile in the back of my yard needed to look better & hopefully compost faster now. I did find a huge pile of good compost at the bottom of the pile so that will be great in the spring.

Today was desk cleaning day, so my Inspirational Superheroes (and a villain) got dusted & reorganized. It was also time to add my newest acquisitions which have an appropriate Halloween them (Blade & Werewolf by Night). These heroes make me smile when I see them under my monitor.

Weather has cooled down enough for the first bow tie of the season. Picked this one up at GenCon and felt it needed paired with this poster on my wall. #bowtie #StarTrek

Had a beautiful nature friend keeping me company in the #KnightGarden yesterday while I painted our Aldo Leopold benches and a garden table. I hadn’t seen any butterflies all summer and this week I have now seen two monarchs.. The monarchs are later this year than most years.

Had a nature friend tonight in the #KnightGarden. He hopped out of the berry patch while I was picking and just stayed six feet ahead of me. I would move and he would take a couple hops then go back to eating grass.

Over lunch, my wife & I were in the #KnightGarden and found the soil has warmed enough to uncover our asparagus. They are still very pale because of the straw covering but will green up now. We also added our bags of Irish Spring soap to keep the deer away from the asparagus bed.

Look what just arrived! Thanks @trzewik for the game prize from the contest. My wife thanks you for the surprise candy bar as well!!

Front of my truck now coordinates with the back of my truck and that makes me smile.

Not sure who is culling their shirt collection to my local Goodwill but they must be a fellow geek as once again I found some amazing shirts and also an old school Batman blanket. These finds were a great pick me up after a rough February. Anyone else having geeky thrifting luck?
