A question we hear pretty regularly after each session is, "When do all these signed bills take effect?" . Unless otherwise specified, bills take effect at the beginning of the fiscal year on September 1. Have a great weekend, everyone!. #TxLege

Congratulations to Brian Barth for his reelection to the ERS Board of Directors. Brian started with TxDOT in 1988 and currently serves as Deputy Director of Program Delivery. TPEA is proud to have endorsed him when he was first elected to the board in 2019.
