Because Ballon d’or now is on individual performance as first criteria not trophies…based on this he has just stepped up recently as he has a poor performance for almost more than half of the season

It’s based on what an individual has achieved hence why Messi won it for winning Copa America. Hence why Jorginho was in the pecking order.

Modric didn't have 40+ goals when he won it did he?? It can go either way there is no specific attribute to win it as we have seen in years. If Liverpool win 3 of 4 trophies or more, then Sadio has to be the favourite only if Madrid win the UCL then Benzema could get it.

This is he problem with the balon dor. You are putting mane ahead of salah, based on the result of a penalty shoot out. It’s not a team award, it’s for individual performance. On this season as a whole ,salah is miles clear of mane, despite mane coming into form of late.

Not bigger chance imo. Mo was also in the final has only lost through Penalty shootout. And Mo has more G/A in all comps than Mane. If we win everything then its 50/50 between them

The thing is, *if* and it's a big *if*, we won the quad, Salah will probably win it. In form Salah and Mane both are fucking great, but out of form Salah still scores and create chances for the team. Out of form mane is not giving enough output like Salah in term of stats.
