Wow!! We are all utterly blown away by the support from the public in the last week and half, and no more so than by everyone who has donated to this fundraiser, hitting £200k in 12 hours. We accept no funding from the public purse to allow us to continue to fight for a criminal.

We largely welcome the National Policing Statement for VAWG released today. However, weaknesses in data recording and inconsistencies of practice across forces need to be addressed too.

Yesterday’s Baird Inquiry publication was another shocking example of what happens when you have a system with no accountability. In fact, these “horror stories” as described by Dame Vera Baird, would never have been in public view had it not been for TMOF identifying the pattern.
