These seventh- and eighth-graders tested water for properties like pH, clarity, dissolved oxygen, and bacteria, which indicate the health of a waterway. Students will assess the data they collect and present findings next month at the Toledo Zoo.

Starting this week, nearly 1,200 students from 25 classrooms across the region are testing and analyzing water quality as part of TMACOG’s Student Watershed Watch. On Thursday, we joined students and teachers from Hawkins STEM Academy and the Natural Science Academy of Toledo.
