Amorim knew he couldn’t get anything out of run of games with City & Arsenal ahead. So he bailed while pocketing 10m. He was a coward🤡 Carrick was brave to take over at worst possible time for caretaker & gave us unexpected hope of 3rd without pre season or a single player❤️

One defeat is not a problem for @ManUtd. The key is how to react. Beating Aston Villa much more important in terms of CL qualification. Obvious squad is not deep enough in terms of quality. Michael Carrick has to manage through this. That is his challenge.

Extreme reactions to results is a problem for a lot of clubs, but particularly Man United. Carrick hasn't become a bad manager overnight. His biggest problem is a thin squad. Stretched beyond a good 12 or 13 and there's not much there.
