Today my heart lies with the victims affected by the atrocities in Colorado and those that live in countries where it is punishable by law to be who they are and love who they choose.

I do not take for granted the fact that, for the majority of the time, I am able to walk down the street harassment free, to live my life the way that I choose. However, this is not a privilege, it is a basic human right, the fight is not over.

With everything going on in queer history right now (yet another nightclub shooting and the World Cup debacle) it is a massive reminder that even though we may feel safe by surrounding ourselves with amazing support systems, queer people are still very much a targeted minority.

#KHT50 Throwback We ended the birthday party with a double bill of Russell’s ‘Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens’. With over 30 actors, it was the largest cast of the week.

"Still" is the most heartbreaking song in the entire show, as Isidor and Ida Straus reflect on their long marriage and its imminent watery conclusion. Simply beautiful. Ellie Shove and Tiernan Lafleur-Johnson give it exquisite tenderness.
