Bentley Melvin turned in an outstanding day for the Jackets at the Splashdown Invitational dropped two seconds in his 100 Back and 50 Free times. @TLHanna_AD

At the Splashdown Invitational in Greenville, Rachel Huggins and Ellie Fleming dropped 2 and 3 seconds respectively off their 50 free times to set new personal bests for the Jackets. @TLHanna_AD

Senior Emily Heintz enters her senior season as one of the most decorated TLH swimmers in school history. She opened her campaign with a 2nd place finish in the 200 Free and 100 Back at the very tough Splashdown Invitational in Greenville today. @TLHanna_AD

TL Hanna Varsity Girls Volleyball went 3-2 and lost in the Silver Bracket final to finish 6th place in the event. The Jackets defeated Liberty and Hillcrest in pool play and added a win over Chesnee in bracket play. Hanna will be at Pickens on Monday. @TLHanna_AD

Gameday for TL Hanna Varsity Volleyball. With preseason scrimmages over, the Yellow Jacket girls travel to Daniel for their first tournament of the season with play beginning at 9:00 AM. @TLHanna_AD

Gameday for TL Hanna Varsity Swim teams. The Jackets head to Greenville to complete in the season opening Splahdown Invitational. Several swimmers are chasing down school records entering the season so we hope to break a few later today! @TLHanna_AD

TL Hanna dropped the season opener at Byrnes. Jaylon Watson led the Hanna offense in rushing with over 50 yards, while Gavin Magin had a rushing touchdown and Walker Kelley caught a two point conversion. @TLHanna_AD

Byrnes rush for 3. 2/7 as we go under a minute to play. Another rush…. Ball Game. 30-10 Byrnes defeats Hanna in the season opener. Hanna will be off next week and then travel to Westside week 2 on September 5.

3/9 from 19. Will Mayfield in at QB. They try to go outside with Nance on jet sweep and he is dropped for loss of 5. 4/13 Hanna tries wheel route to Nance and it is picked off. 1:41 to play and Byrnes can sit on it now.

3/9 from 19. Magin outside pocket… throws it up and Emari Nance makes a great catch but as he comes down gets it stripped away. He got a toe down…. Really nice play by Byrnes DB. Byrnes flag for roughing passer, Hanna called for Holding. Magin shaken up and goes to bench.

1/10 Magin to end zone and incomplete. Lucky that wasn’t intercepted…. 2/10 Williams again outside for 1. Hanna offense is just gased now….

1/10 pressure and Magin gets it away in area of Walker Kelley. 2/10 Thomas Williams out wide for gain of 13 and a first down at Rebel 21.

1/10 at 46 of Byrnes. Gavin Magin on midline for big gain, but a flag flies and it will come back. We called for block in back in the box…. Not sure on that one. Nevermind, it was called down field 13 yards. 1/11 Magin takes off for 13. First down at Byrnes 34.

1/10 Thomas Williams for 1. 2/9 Magin rollout, pass to Jam Williams who makes a beautiful one handed catch for pickup of 15ish. What a play.

2/15 for Byrnes. 6:22 to play. Rebels take a deep shot and the WR just gets it on his finger tips and is gone. 78 yards for the TD. XP is good. 30-10 Byrnes leads now.

1/10 Byrnes False Start. 1/15 they try screen and it is incomplete. Jackets were very worried about screens and have defended them very well. 2/10 lot of confusion before snap and timeout Byrnes.
