Grade 8 students from Monck Public School explored Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, and CNC machining careers at Georgian College in Bracebridge through hands-on workshops, gaining valuable insights into the trades industry!!

This past week, Caleb Dyck (IEWSS) and Wil Sinclair (HHS) competed in the National Skills Competition in Quebec City after winning gold at the Provincial championship. Wil finished 4th in Electrical Installations, and Caleb won gold in Individual Carpentry!!!

On May 29, Gravenhurst HS hosted "High School, Here We Come!" for incoming grade 9s. Grade 8s from local schools explored GHS's 4 SHSM programs: Construction, Health & Wellness, Hospitality & Tourism, and Art & Culture. They rotated through 6 experiential stations!
