As a black gay man who has never been “black enough” or has been “too black” depending on who I’m around…I never used that as my personality. She uses it for sympathy. Girl, it’s too easy to be an unproblematic, nerdy black person who likes alt rock and emo punk shit.

Mind you, she also took advantage of talking shit about these communities whenever she could. I made the decision to step down as admin due to work life balance and not being able to manage the way I would’ve liked to see the community managed. Guess who piped up? Exhibit A:
We never heard from GothixTV again until 2020, when she began spreading false narratives about The Cookout and Black Girl Gamers, as if both communities hadn’t previously tried to address her concerns when they were raised actively (please reference previous thread). (27/33)
