Having received the review into Fianna Fáil’s disastrous presidential bid, Taoiseach Micheál Martin says he is “absolutely” confident his leadership is in tact and the report will be furnished to Fianna Fáil’s parliamentary party “promptly”.

Police from Portugal, France and the North were deployed to Dublin during Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's visit last week, The Journal has learned. Their role was to operate a drone shield around locations including Government Buildings.

A 'faster and more efficient' way of carrying out an assessment of need for children has been announced today. Minister for Children Norma Foley said legislation will be required to introduce the reforms, which she said will take time.
