As of now these are the following systems that support SSH on Windows: . Windows 10-Windows 11.Windows Server 2019-Windows Server 2025.

The only way that you can use PSSession from what I have seen is if the Windows Machine has SSH enabled and the SSH subsystem has a powershell process contained in it.

I already tried to use the PSWSMan module, but it has not been supported in over two years, and sadly it does not work either.

WSMan relied on the Open Management Infrastructure (OMI) project, which no longer supports PowerShell remoting. The OMI WSMan client is dependent on OpenSSL 1.0. Most Linux distributions have moved to OpenSSL 2.0, which isn't backward-compatible.

Welp TIL. If you are trying to obtain a New-PSSession or use Enter-PSSession from Kali Linux to a Windows host, it is not supported anymore. More information here:
