Hank having a decent summer. Definitely didn’t have his best stuff working last night, but unfazed, and got it done anyways. Thru 23 innings for Post 1 this summer, 5-0 with a 0.91 ERA and 27Ks.
Final from last night…. Florence 9 Manning 4 Hank Grider throws 4.1 scoreless with 7 K’s to move to 5-0. Web Barnes had 2 hits and 3 RBIs including his 3rd HR of the year. Cooper Coleman and Daniel Parker each with 2 hits. Florence (17-2) travels to Horry tomorrow, 7:30.

Florence 15 Wayne County NC 4 Post 1 opens the NCvsSC tourney with a win over the defending NC state champs. Cooper Coleman allows 0 ER in 5 IP. Barnes hits a 3 run HR, Atkinson had a 2 run triple and Coscetti and Grider each had 2 run doubles.

Hank had a great outing on the mound for @Post1Baseball. Got the win 2-1 against a very talented lineup of the best in Horry County.
Florence 2 Horry 1 Florence wins the non conference opener in Marion as Peyton Rogers, Hank Grider and Colby Richardson combine on a 1 hitter with 13 K’s Miles Trussell’s HR tied it and Brandon Anderson’s RBI single gave Post 1 the lead in the 6th.

So much fun watching @CeceliaGrider2 play Volleyball. 2nd year on HS Varsity as a Freshman and already selected as All-Region in 3A. Lots of traveling for club volleyball this spring and summer.
So honored to have made All-Region and a Varsity team Captain as a Freshman this year. Excited for club ball this spring and for HS ball with Dillon next fall.

3 scoreless no hit innings. This team is so fun to watch and Hank is learning so much about how to be a player from these guys. Gonna be a fun summer.
Final from last night..Florence beats Horry 11-4 to finish 3-0 on the weekend. Hank Grider tossed 3 scoreless innings in relief for the win. Big night for Jamarcus Williams as he goes 3-4 with 3 RBI’s Post 1 opens league play tomorrow, hosting Manning at 7:30.
