Seen a few people write things like how hard is it when you’re one of the only drivers on wets, but you’ve still got to make that decision to change; and still got to keep the car on track

Should act as a reminder for all the driver’s from first to last have a responsibility to look after themselves and others they race against. It can be dangerous
This is not pointing fingers, just a reminder actions can have bad consequences.

I understand the ‘purists’ issue with how good Sutton and the Ford is.
But you’ve got to give it to Ash, he’s won in the MG6 (that was shite), won in the Levorg (which every other driver struggled in), won in the Infiniti (which was shite before and after him) and the Focus

I think the BTCC needs to reassess the cost situation.
How many drivers over the last 1-5 seasons have missed out on a deserved drive, or had to settle for a ‘cheap’ lower end of the grid seat?

I thought he was a ‘waste’ of a seat this season after effectively being a club racer up until this point.
What a driver he is, I was wrong.
Same with Andrew Watson, PMR’s recruitment has been unreal this season

If Mr Sutton does leave the Infiniti, it’ll be interesting to see whether the Infiniti is a very competent car or whether Ash is a ludicrously good driver, judging how he drove the Subaru which was crap, I’m guessing the latter

The officials need to sort this sh*t of loose bodywork rule out. Granted it’s been consistent. BUT surely flappy bodywork is safer than teammates literally driving into eachother or hitting a tyre stack to remove it. Thoughts?

IMO the
@BTCC
need to sack off the Hybrid system. It’s not as ‘equalising’ as ballast was and more importantly, the expensive system has more than likely contributed to many talented drivers and teams stepping away from the series due to budget and funding issues

BTCC Penalties
All 3 incidents involving the BMW’s today have been reviewed. No penalties for Sutton, Chilton or Ingram. WSR contested the Chilton and Sutton incident, both got chucked out.
Ingram Turks was racing incident IMO. but I feel Sutton and Chilton got away with one

Nic Hamilton has done a good job today, kept it on the road and bought it home damage free for all three races, considering the carnage around the mid to back of the grid in all three races, the weather conditions and the fact it’s a brand new car I think hes done well

Such a shame TOCA and Ginetta have gone their separate ways, both championships have paved a way for some current BTCC drivers ; Ingram, Creesy, Morgan, Wrathall,Burns and Oliphant to name a few, I hope TOCA replaces it with another ‘junior’ tin top series

IMO the BTCC hasn’t been as close as it has in previous seasons (possibly due to Hybrid and bother factors).
The last thing we need is stupidly harsh stewarding decisions taking even more away from the racing.
It’s touring cars not open wheel racing, we can have a little rub.
