Kudos to Clay Holmes for a strong effort tonight. Would’ve been nice to get 6 from him but this was a step forward for him. The bullpen was generally fine too over 4 IP. They’re going to give up a run every now and again. As for the offense, that’s just a dumpster fire.

I am all for the #Mets upgrading their bullpen. Like I said, it is superb on paper now. But, they're scoring under 4 runs per game since June 15, a span of 37+ games. They're not selling me on their offense being satisfactory heading into the heat of the pennant race.
