This isn’t the worst schedule and kind of just how it is these days. SJU needs to hope Cuse and VT pan out. Unless you’re Dayton/VCU, you have to get creative and I’m biased but I think La Salle nailed it. Go on the road, play neutral site games and get a couple Q1 games.
St. Joe’s non-conference ⬇️ .Highlights are at Virginia Tech, at UNLV, neutral against Syracuse, neutral against Princeton, and the Big 5 Classic.

I hate dumping on Fordham but yeesh this schedule is so bad. No reason they shouldn’t sweep through this schedule.

This definitely feels like the case especially for P5 programs but I do feel like this has been much less successful for mid majors like the A10. There are some horror cases over the years but also have guys like Tony Skinn.
The best recruiters are your program’s former players imo.

Plenty of opportunities for Dayton this season. I hate to say it but if the A10 going to get multiple bids it’s likely cause Dayton put together a strong resume in the noncon.

In terms of Q1/Q2 games La Salle could have 5 on their schedule. Temple.Nova.Penn State.High Point.Michigan. Most of the remaining should be Q3 games with only 2 or 3 Q4 games.

Since it’s been mentioned a few times now, the “big non-con game” I was referring to back in June was La Salle at Michigan. La Salle has probably put together one of the toughest noncon schedules in the A-10, so no complaining. I’d imagine it’s released very soon.

I obviously prefer the old logo however there are several that are much worse in the A10. It’s weird they didn’t make an announcement but on the other hand it’s silly to have these kind of “rebrand” announcements especially when it just leaves them getting dragged for it.
Why are there no details online at all about La Salle’s logo change in 2020? So weird. I can’t even find anything on this platform discussing it.

This is an improvement but I thought GW schedule better than is. At this point, I thought they have higher expectations to get more high quality games.

Unfortunately, this was always a gamble. I was pretty optimistic earlier this summer given some of the waivers granted but there is zero consistency from the NCAA. It’s a loss for sure but there is a lot of depth. Shooting is definitely a concern so we will see how it shakes out.
La Salle news:. Marcus Randolph’s NCAA Waiver was denied to play a 5th season. Randolph had transferred to La Salle from Saint Peter’s, where he averaged 14.4 points per game for the Peacocks. Perhaps that allowed for the Explorers to make the additions that they made last week.
