An usually high tide combined with high winds ended up leaving some goodies upon the shore of Hudson Bay. This curious polar bear ended up finding some seaweed under the snow! #exploremanitoba #polarbear #twitternaturecommunity

Churchill's polar bears have now been on land for nearly 160 days. Since they lose a kilogram a day while they don't have access to seal meat, many of the bears are over 300 pounds lighter and in need of a serious meal. #exploremanitoba #polarbear #twitternaturecommunity

We had been spending time with this "cow moose" for sometime before realizing something was a bit different. We spoke with other photographers who talked to a park warden in Jasper, it turns out that this is a bull that has a hormone issue so he doesn't grow antlers anymore.

The fact that we were lucky enough to have a glimpse into the lives of the polar bears that call the shores of Hudson Bay home was pretty special. These bears glowed in the gentle morning light on the tundra as this mother bear was comfortable enough with us to nurse her cub.

Had a fantastic tour with Tomas and Discover Churchill yesterday! Watching ptarmigans nibble away at the willow buds on the tundra was an absolute treat. #ptarmigan #exploremanitoba #birdphotography

"Mom, wait for me!!" Took a tundra buggy tour with @FrontiersNorth on Sunday and encountered 16 polar bears on the tundra including this 11 month old cub. They grow fast, don't they? Especially since there isn't another sibling that this one has to share with. #polarbear

What an amazing tour with Sub-Arctic Tours in Churchill today. We're able to see snowy owls semi-reguarly at home but there was something special about seeing one on the shores of Hudson Bay. #birdphotography #snowyowl #owls

It'll be awhile before we see greens like this black bear was enjoying in Jasper this past spring! #myjasper #explorealberta #blackbear

It's amazing to see how well these bighorns navigate such challenging terrain as we clumsily walk around on flat ground π #myjasper #bighornsheep #explorealberta

We were thrilled to see this iconic tree still standing in Jasper after last year's fire.. along with a few Canada geese making a cameo in the background βΊοΈ #myjasper #explorealberta
