People always justify Hall of Presidents existence cause it was Walt's idea. But that doesn't make it any less of a dumbass idea. It alienates half your audience and breaks the escapism of a castle park. Just cause he was an idea guy doesn't mean every idea was inherently good.

@TCJaalin The attraction doesn’t alienate people, the people who make it part of the experience to boo and cheer do. I think those people make up a small chunk too.

@TexAg420 If folks don't like the current sitting president, odds are people skip it. It also actively brings politics into the parks which works against the escapism of a castle park. People come to WDW to relax and escape. Also I could forgive all of that if it wasn't boring as hell

@TCJaalin Turn it into “Walt’s Vision” a historical journey through the planning of WDW. Various Walt animatronics telling the story with the real audio from the Disneyland tv show. Walt is the most sophisticated animatronic in the park.

@TCJaalin Its not relevant anymore and a total buzz kill with how politicized people are. I vote for a “Great Moments in American History Dark Ride” starring the muppets

@TCJaalin The attraction even makes excuses for itself by having a bust and poster of Walt inside the waiting room with presidential artifacts. It needs to go.

@TCJaalin I think this attraction’s failing is society’s (we should be able to handle this), but I agree. Bygone era, let it go.

@TCJaalin Honestly it should be a unifying thing because every single person can find someone in that room that they despise. It should bring us together over our shared hatred of the ruling class.

@TCJaalin It actually used to be a very positive thing for everyone in the audience.

@JaadCru @TCJaalin Right? Even if people only go for the AC, it’s about the history of the park, Walt’s legacy, Roy’s work making it happen so people better understand the Roy statue and stop calling him Walt. Embrace the history of the place with animatronics and storytelling that only Disney can
