Yesterday we had a great kick-off to the 24/25 academic year. Meaningful professional development took place ,including Tim Wise reminding us of the importance of our college continuing to address issues of equity, diversify, inclusion, belonging and anti-racism. @tacomacc

Earlier this week I concluded 4 days of learning and connection at AACC’s Presidents Academy Summer Institute. I learned a lot and was able to connect so many amazing colleagues. @tacomacc

Yesterday Pierce Transit launched a new Runner service in Gig Harbor. This service will provide on-demand, needed transportation for students and community members to get to our TCC Gig Harbor Campus (and many other places). Thank you Pierce Transit! @tacomacc @PierceTransit

Yesterday I had the fortunate pleasure to discuss Workforce! Workforce! Workforce! with some of my higher education colleagues at the 2024 Annual Meeting of the Economic Development Board of Tacoma-Pierce County. It was a great and informative conversation. @tacomacc
