I haven't gotten a cease and desist from Taco Bell. Instead I got roped into a corporate zoom years ago in which they assured me they wouldn't sue me in a verbal agreement, probably because they figured no one would ever hear of a literary magazine.

I know you're probably like I haven't heard anyone talk about this. I seen the New Yorker post something mean and figured this was my last chance to get 50 likes. When I tell this story in real life people stare through me wondering what I'm talking about.

Since he's back in the conversation of no one cares, one time James Frey tried to launch his comeback through TBQ, offering to write a regular column. His pitch was simply "look up my Instagram." I invited him to submit something alongside everyone else and never heard from him.
