Yesterday in Delft, we joined TB Champions for Youth Day! Soccer, netball, TB education & testing stressed the importance of early testing—especially for close contacts, PLHIV & those who had TB in the last 2 years. Early testing saves lives!

Our TB Champions are leading with heart — raising awareness, reducing stigma & working with local partners to bring TB testing to the community.

The Youth Day event was held on 16 June at Desmond Tutu Hall in Makhaza, in collaboration with Matthew Goniwe Clinic and other partners. Guided by the theme “Healthy Youth, Healthy Nation,” the event focused on empowering the community through wellness. #EndTB

Ingrid Schoeman from spoke at WHO STAG-TB, advocating for policies that work: #TUTT, social support, community engagement & stronger accountability for TB policy implementation at all levels. Thanks to Dr Theresa Kasaeva & WHO team for a fruitful meeting & commitment to #EndTB.
