🌿 Rezaire explains the origin of the ‘carbet’, an architectural structure that houses the work ‘Des/Astres’, located in the centre of the exhibition itinerary. This construction, traditionally made of wood and with a palm leaf roof, is native to French Guiana.

The blackness of the workbecomes a space of revelation where signs of disaster, transformation and sacred mysteries emerge. Based on historical references, Rose begins by digitally manipulating a photograph of Ferdinand Keller's painting ‘Böcklin's Tomb’.
