New: @schwallr remembers Fr. Francisco Morales Valerio (1937–2024), a towering figure in the study of colonial Mexico and the Franciscan order. His path took him to Washington, DC and Rome before returning to Puebla, where he founded the Biblioteca Franciscana in Cholula.
