Because of the shape of the cone and the way the rails are angled, the cone's #CenterOfGravity moves downward as the cone rolls upward. [2/3].

Dr. Tatiana places a wooden cone at the bottom of the ramp and it somehow rolls uphill. It may look like it is going against gravity, but it is actually doing exactly what #physics predicts. [1/3].

The magnetic force direction must be perpendicular to the direction of current flow and perpendicular to the direction of the magnetic field. [3/4] #science.

The force on the moving charges is called the #LorentzForce. The force on each of these charges produces a net force on the whole wire thereby causing the wire to move. The direction of the force on the wire can be found by use of a right-hand rule. [2/4].

Did you know wires with currents can experience a magnetic force? When the current flows through the wire, the moving charges in the wire interact with the #magnetic field from the nearby permanent magnet. [1/4].
