Signage will be placed in the area tomorrow to notify drivers of the parking restriction. In addition to the parking restriction, a temporary lane closure will be in place for eastbound traffic on Genesee Street from Almond Street.
This order will remain in effect until 12:00 p.m. This temporary parking restriction is being put in place due to a large event being held at Forman Park and will remain in effect for a total of 5 hours.

Our midnight shift honored our fallen hero, Officer Michael Jensen, last night by wearing the traditional police cap. Officers also sported mustaches to resemble Officer Jensen infamous look. We will continue to carry on Officer Jensens legacy within the department and community

DOUBLE HOMICIDE SUSPECT TAKEN INTO CUSTODY:. The suspect wanted in connection to the double homicide investigation on Roney Road, 43-year-old David Huff, was taken into custody around 9:30 a.m. this morning in the area of the crime scene thanks to a tip from a citizen.
‼️ONGOING SEARCH FOR DOUBLE HOMICIDE SUSPECT‼️. The Syracuse Police Department is asking for the public's help in the ongoing search for a suspect in a double homicide investigation. The suspect has been identified as 43-year-old David Huff.
