@SymbolStones Why are you lot like this? Constantly trying to rewrite history to suit an agenda! The Jacobite uprising was solely to put the Catholic Stuart’s back on the throne of the UK, that is undeniable fact! You do realise there is a direct blood line from Robert the Bruce to Charles III.

@gingersquirrel8 @SymbolStones It's quite frightening how many ignorant Scottish nationalists think the "Jacobites" was some "Scotland the oppressed fighting the bad English" thing, when it was a civil war about which line should be the next king of Britain. They are just so ignorant.

Clearly the stats are "rubbish" then (check them) because our Unionist pro settler-colonial friend says so. Anybody see a pattern here?.
These supposed stats are rubbish. A) Stuart wanted to take over the throne for himself, not 'liberate' Scotland .B) It was a religious war with Catholics wanting to overturned the Protestant German dynasty. C) It was agitated, supported (faintly) by France to divert UK forces.
