This one was crazy! While others use loops, my man creates his own loop with layers and that saxophone (I think)! - when I heard it first time, I was like WTF! At the end, he says, po po enjoy pannu :) #ilaiyaraaja.
While most 80 y/o Indian dads would be busy blessing kids & grandkids on birthdays, Raaja chose a different route! He releases this track and telling @thisisysr as “step in the ring with me, Yuvan 😂” 🔥. Beautiful Breakup OST

When the remix blew up on Instagram, I had mixed feelings. On one hand, I’m glad this beautiful song is reaching more people; on the other, the composer had no say — the audio label owns the rights. Listen to the original from Aa Raathri and the percussion :) #ilaiyaraaja

The most heartbreaking moment. When the lady said even children come on the road and cause accidents, he squirmed in the seat. I can’t even imagine the trauma that man was in. If we can’t empathise with another human, I don’t know what kind of universal love you propagate.

If you had studied senior school or college at that time, you would know the impact of this album. It was mayhem, I remember one fest, where 80% of the teams performed Kan Munne Ethanai Nilavu. That was the level of craze.

I consider Thulluvadho Ilamai was Yuvan’s true breakout. Unlike Poovellam Kettuppar with its big names, we bought it blind. The cassette came 1.5 years (early 2001) before the film (May 2002), and soon every stage had Kan Munne and Neruppu Koothadikuthu. The prince had arrived.

Also loved some of the dialogues in the movie. 1. வேற ஆளுங்க பிரச்சனை இல்ல, என்ன ஆளுங்கதான் பிரச்சனை. 2. சில பசங்களுக்கு குடிக்காம அழ வராது, ஆன குடிக்கறவன் கண்ணீருக்கு மரியாதை கிடையாது .3. உங்க கூடவே இருக்கறவங்க வர வரைக்கும் நடுவுல வர எல்லாரும் போயிட்டுதான் இருப்பாங்க!.
Watched #LoveMarriage yesterday and the work @RSeanRoldan has done especially in the background score was amazing. The pauses, alternative versions of the theme and more importantly it accentuated the movie. But wish the movie was more creative. Also loved couple of songs.

Adappavi, Remix kooda nee pannalaya! And you can’t even get his spelling right, and can’t acknowledge his work but people will call him arrogant.
Apparently, it was not remixed by Anirudh but by a DJ. Look at the spelling of Ilaiyaraaja in the credits. 🤷🏿♂️. Current-gen Tamils call Raaja Sir as arrogant 🤷🏿♂️
