Thoughts? How will this impact gaming in Sydney? Will it impact gaming in Sydney? Are you a game designer who previously wrote under OGL? What do you think about this development?

Do you run games with vampires? Other than #Ravenloft, are they still a horror trope? Or do you agree that in modern storytelling, vampires have been de-fanged?

Podcast episode discussing fantasy story structures, including in gaming. Looks at alternatives to the well known hero’s journey. Which, let’s face it, isn’t so great for a group game. Local game author @dsgove was guest on this episode.

What is your process as a DM?
Dungeon Masters, do you make sure you are familiar with all player spells before the game begins? Or do you just rely on the players to get their spells right? Any tips for handling player spellcasting? #dnd

Lots of potential ideas for GMs here. Have you run a campaign where the characters were faced with wipe out? What kinds of stories did you run? How did the characters react? Was it a serious campaign or more lighthearted?

A few games discussed this time, primarily the Mass Effect series. But lots of great story ideas that GMs can tap into.

What are you nerdy about that isn't nerdy? Not your love of LotR or the MCU or whatever but a subject you return to over and over and love to discuss no matter how boring or uncool it is to other people.
