As for Shens team... as psychic it initially seems weak vs Zeds dark but his ace is a fighting type which is even 4x effective vs Bisharp (Zed ace) Lake trio is willpower, emotion and knowledge who keep time and space from killing each other it fits his balance thing i think

I feel like that'd be Kayns team... I went for dark and not gost types because he's still Zeds star pupil and ghost. Pawniard is Bisharps pre evo + Kayns is shiny to represent his future as SA. Zorua is pre transforamtion Kayns connection to Zed Darkrai represents Rhaast.

Zed if he was a pokemon trainer (I'm sorry for being a loser) Bisharp is such an obvious choice though I feel like it'd evolve after he kills Kusho (repost cause my first version was incoherent sorry again)
