Here's how it works. 1. If it's something good, it was capitalism. 2. If it's something bad, that was state-backed cronyism, which is not real capitalism. 3. If anyone starves, that was communism. All arguments ever from them are this. I know, I was a libertarian for years.
These guys are nuts. State owned enterprises building most things, a one party state, and any business with 9+ employees having a literal party cell, by law = capitalism But a moderate welfare state in the West = communism
