From Australia to Europe - #hydrogen is imported over quite long distances. 🌍 That's not really energy-efficient. 🤔 An ideal alternative for hydrogen transport is green #ammonia. But the chemical might also play a different role in the future:

Our #Mézaillesprocess, which uses radicals to enable nitrogen to react paves the way for a revolution: reduce the CO2 footprint of ammonia production and allow new applications for #ammonia, in particular modular #renewable #EnergyStorage . #renewableenergy #renewables

Did you know? #Ammonia, is currently produced in huge plants, requiring natural gas, high pressures and extreme temperatures. This 100-year old Haber-Bosch process is responsible for ~2% of global CO2 emissions. #changeneeded #greentech #Cleantech
